- National Flood Insurance Coverage Program
- Preferred Risk Policy Eligibility
Most people are not aware that their insurance policies don’t cover floods. A flood isn’t just a river overflowing it’s banks. It can include storms, melting snow and water backup due to inadequate or blocked drainage, as well as broken water mains.
It is quick and easy to apply for flood insurance. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes to have you covered and your home protected in case of a flood. All we need is your name, address and phone number. There is usually a 30 day waiting period before coverage goes into effect so don’t delay.
National Flood Insurance Coverage Program (NFIP)
The National Flood Insurance Program was created by Congress to enable property owners to purchase insurance protection from the government against losses from flooding.
Preferred Risk Policy (PRP) Eligibility Extension
The NFIP’s Preferred Risk Policy, or PRP, offers low-cost flood insurance to owners and tenants of eligible residential and non-residential buildings located in moderate- to low-risk areas.
