Each year, I have at least one client involved in a kitchen fire. Most of the time, these incidents are preventable.
I was shocked when I saw this video, and I knew I wanted to share it with my clients. It is important to become aware and educated so that when an emergency occurs, you are able to protect yourself and your home.
If you have a oil fire in your kitchen:
- Turn off heat
- Get wet cloth
- Stifle the flame with the wet cloth
- If fire persists, call 911
DONT throw water on the fire
